Terms of service

Effective date: [Effective date]

These draft terms describe the recorded product decisions for Palabas. They require review by the service owner and Philippine counsel. They do not replace mandatory consumer rights. Do not rely on this unfinished template as final terms.

Service operator and agreement

[Company legal name], [Registered address], operates [Final service name]. Contact [Support email] for service questions. [Specify eligibility, age requirements, acceptance process, governing law, and dispute-resolution details after counsel review.]

Your account and acceptable use

Use accurate account information and keep your password private. Use the service for authorized viewing and ticket purchases. Do not share access credentials, copy or redistribute protected content without permission, bypass access or entry checks, submit false payment receipts, or interfere with other users or the service.

[Confirm account-sharing rules, permitted personal use, reporting channels, and the process for investigating suspected misuse.]

Wallet and top-ups

One wallet funds videos and concert tickets. One credit equals one Philippine peso. Wallet balances never expire, and unused balances remain spendable. Under the current product policy, wallet funds are not withdrawable or refundable in cash, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Top-up is available on the website through manual GCash payment and receipt upload. A receptionist reviews the amount and payment reference; approval credits the wallet once. Submission alone does not confirm funds. The Android app has no top-up flow. Video purchases and subscriptions are available only on the website; concert seats can be bought in the Android app with an existing balance.

Video purchases and subscriptions

Review the price and scope of access before purchasing. Individual cuts and episodes are purchases, not rentals. Eligible spending on cuts counts toward an episode upgrade. Purchase amounts are recorded at checkout; later price changes do not rewrite what was paid.

Subscriptions cover the available subscription catalog, and some new episodes may require a separate purchase. Renewal deducts from the wallet. Check the plan's current price, renewal date, and insufficient-balance conditions before subscribing. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Subscriptions are not refunded under the current policy, subject to mandatory rights.

Video refunds

A video purchase can be refunded when the fault is ours, including playback we cannot fix or content removed without continued access for buyers. Change of mind is not a refund ground under the current policy. Contact Support promptly; staff assess the purchase and applicable configured refund window. [Specify how the current refund window is disclosed to buyers before purchase.]

Approved refunds return the amount actually paid to the wallet and revoke the refunded access. The original transaction remains in the history. A cut used toward an episode upgrade cannot be refunded separately; the episode is assessed for the amount paid. [Counsel must confirm refund grounds, time limits, and when another refund method must be available.]

Concert tickets, holds, and entry

Review the concert, price, and selected seats before paying. A reserved-seat hold is temporary, not a completed purchase. Its expiry is shown during selection. Expired holds release seats for other buyers. A successful purchase provides a ticket QR and entry code in Tickets. Present the ticket at the correct concert. Redeemed tickets cannot be used again. Ticket transfers are not supported in v1.

If the organizer cancels a concert, active tickets are automatically refunded to the wallet at their stored price paid. Ticket-granted bonus funds remain with the buyer. Already redeemed tickets need manual review through Support. A postponement keeps tickets valid for the updated date. [Counsel must confirm whether cash refunds must be offered on request for cancelled events.]

Suspension, termination, and remaining balances

[Define proportionate grounds, notice, review and appeal routes for suspension or termination, plus account closure requested by the customer.] [Resolve access to purchased videos, active tickets, refunds, remaining wallet balances, and retained records.] Do not treat termination as permission to expire or confiscate unused wallet funds.

Privacy and service changes

Read the separate Privacy policy for the draft data-handling notice. [Specify maintenance and service-change notices, content withdrawal handling, and any permitted liability limits without excluding mandatory rights.] [Describe notice of material changes to these terms and how acceptance will be recorded.]

Support and disputes

While signed in, open Support and include the video, ticket, or payment reference involved. If you cannot sign in, contact [Support email]. For privacy matters contact [DPO email]. [Complete escalation routes, response handling, and applicable Philippine consumer and dispute channels with counsel.]
